Gungahlin Regional Community Service operates the Before and/or After School Care Programs at the following schools:

General Information

New Fee Increases from Monday 7 July 2008

Fees

$9.00 per child per morning
$18.00 per child per afternoon
$20.00 per child per afternoon for casual bookings

School Holiday Program $42.00 per day per child.

(Casual fees are payable unless notice of cancellation is received at the office by 10.00am on the morning of the booked care). A system of payment for late collection of children operates at the Program to cover any staff overtime expenses. This will be charged at $5.00 per minute for the first 5 minutes and $2.00 per minute for every minute thereafter. Exemptions do exist upon discussion with the Program Manager.

Childcare Benefits (CCB)

If you have a sibling/s attending an approved long day care, family day care or other out of school hours care program and would like us to apply the highest CCB percentage that you are entitled to, you can provide your CRN Number to us. Once we receive confirmation from Centrelink, you will be charged at the reduced rate.

Hours of Operation

Before School Care            7.30am to start of school hours (9.00am)
After School Care                finishing time of school (3.00pm) to 6.00pm

A selection of fruits, savoury biscuits and sandwiches are provided at After School Care. (No food is provided at Before School Care). Water is the only drink provided.

Activities

Activities range to cater for individual needs and include sports, crafts and life skills (eg cooking).

Enrolments

If you would like to use Out of School Care, you are required to complete an Enrolment form. Please note that we require copies of your child/ren's Immunisation record with the enrolment. If you do not have a copy of your child/ren's Immunisation record, it is available from the Australian Immunisation Register (Medicare Australia), phone 1800 653 809 or www.medicareaustralia.gov.au.

Payment Terms

If you would like to book permanent days for Before and After School care, we require 2 weeks payment in advance to secure your booking. Statements are sent fortnightly via mail or email. Direct Debit payments are deducted on Public Service pay days.  Payments can be made as follows:
