Gungahlin Regional Community Service manages the Gungahlin Community Resource Centre - 47 Ernest Cavanagh Street, Gungahlin (same building as the Library) and the Ngunnawal Neighbourhood Centre - 40 Yarrawonga Street Ngunnawal (Ngunnawal Shops).
Facilities

Both centres have available for hire:

Function Room - a large hall, access to the kitchen (occupancy loading 100).
Meeting Room - occupancy loading 20.

Facilities include:
Car parking
Kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, instant hot water
Baby change area, accessible entrances and toilets
Trestle tables and chairs
Equipment: (for cleaning up after your function): brooms, mops and buckets.

To secure your booking, we require a deposit plus a signed copy of the:

Casual Hire Agreement Form

The balance of the total hire cost is to be paid at least two weeks prior to the event or the booking will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.

Hiring Costs (effective 1 July 2008)

Function Room             $26.00 per hour
Meeting Room              $22.00 per hour
Weekend Function       $250 + $300 refundable deposit

All prices are GST inclusive.

Regular Hire

Our rooms are available for regular hire by groups/organisations.

Regular Hire Agreement Form

All regular Hirers require Public Liability Insurance of $5,000,000 minimum. Key Deposit $50.00

Current Regular Hire Groups include:
  • Playgroups
  • Churchgroups
  • Exercise groups
  • Dancing groups
  • Children's Music groups
Weekend Functions

Functions may include Weddings, Children's Birthday Parties, Engagement Parties, Reunions and general meetings.

A $300 refundable cash deposit is required for all functions. The deposit will only be returned when premises are left clean and free of damage and there has been no security call outs.
