Home and Community Care Program (HACC)

This program offers volunteers opportunities in the following areas: office duties to become involved in the day to day administrative duties related to a busy office environment, computer skills would be an advantage.

Volunteer Community Transport Drivers. This is a position for people who are looking to engage directly with clients, while providing transport to and from appointments. Current drivers license essential for this position.

Senior Group Assistant Facilitators. This is a position for people interested in working face to face with clients attending Wednesday Senior's group. Good interpersonal skills needed for this position.

Family and Community Support Program

This program offers volunteer opportunities to individuals interested in working in an administrative role, manning the reception and being a first point of contact for enquiries at this shop front location. Community Development Program

The Community Development Program aims to engage residents of Gungahlin in community activities, to help alleviate the feeling of social isolation often experienced by residents in newly developed regions. Activities offered through the program range from skills development, English conversation classes for newly arrived migrants to supportive discussion and craft groups for parents.
