Disability Services

The GRCS Disability program is run by a dedicated and professional team of people who will be happy to discuss your particular circumstances and the program.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE
A Monday to Friday program for young people with an intellectual disability currently attending an ACT High School or College. The program runs between 3pm and 6pm during the school terms and caters for both high need and low need clients. Pick ups are available from Black Mountain School. Afternoon tea is provided. The fee for the program is $23 per day.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
The program is available for 7 weeks per year during the term school holidays including Easter and caters for both high need and low need clients. The School Holiday Program runs Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 8:30 am - 6:00 pm. Some activities have a small additional cost. Everyone is required to provide their own food. There are no pick up or drop off services available for this program. The fee for the program is $53 per day.

LINKS FOR LIFE
Links for Life is a skill development program for young people who are not attending an ACT High School or College. The program helps develop life skills through education, community access and recreational activities. It is run on Tuesday and Thursday between 9:30 am to 2:30 pm and caters only for low need clients. Transport is provided to and from the centre. The fee for the program is $17 per day.

Vacancies vary according to the program and you are invited to contact the Disability Program Manager to talk about the current vacancies.
